Volkswagen sought to highlight the all-new Jetta’s exceptional value in a way that broke through conventional automotive marketing. Partnering with Gilt Groupe, a platform synonymous with exclusive access, offered the perfect stage to position “great” design and engineering at an unexpected price point.

Solution & Impact

We created an online flash sale where three custom Jettas were released over three days, each available for only $5,995. Every car sold in under a minute, and each day set a new traffic record for Gilt. The campaign transformed Volkswagen’s value message into a tangible experience that felt both luxurious and attainable, sparking massive media attention and consumer excitement. The result: more than 94 million impressions, establishing the Jetta as great for the price of good.
